London Pharmacy opening hours for Christmas and New Year 2020


Bank Holidays can affect the opening hours of local pharmacies. This document provides the opening hours for pharmacies in London which have been asked to open for longer hours on the Christmas & New Year Bank Holidays. Please note that 26th December 2020 is not a bank holiday, however there will be a large number of pharmacies who normally open who will be closed on this day.  The 28th December is a bank holiday in 2020..

Repeat Prescriptions

green_pillsRepeat prescriptions will be issued at the doctor's discretion and are normally for patients on long term treatment.

Repeat prescriptions can be supplied by returning the repeat prescription request form attached to your prescription. Tick the items required and place your form in the prescription box at reception. Your medication review date will also be displayed on this form.

Prescription requests can be made by

  • Online (you need to register for Emis Patient access by clicking Here 

On the Welcome page, select Register.

On the next screen, when asked if you have already been given a PIN and Access ID by your GP, select No.

Follow the prompts to find the practice (postcode E4 8DG) and add any personal and security details.

When you have created your account, you will be restricted to booking one appointment only until you attend the practice to be accepted for a full Patient Access account.

You will need to bring proof of identity and the practice will then need to accept your account request.


We are unable to take orders or issue prescriptions at weekends, public holidays or out of normal surgery hours.

Please allow two full working days  before collection and make allowances for weekends and public holidays. Prescription requests will not be taken over the telephone.
